Mondays are crazy enough without having to go to the doctor 2 times in one day. Wesley had an appointment for this morning to get his 6mo. shots. Yes, we are behind on his shot he just turned 10 mo. Between life in general and him being sick it got us off schedule. He did well for a sweet boy who got 6 shots 3 in each leg. Tonight before bed he had a fever and wouldn't eat his cereal. He just wanted to nurse and go to bed. I hope he sleeps through the night. The sleep is more for me than him...... I'm a much better mother with sleep.
Now for the other appointment it was for Elizabeth. She hasn't felt well since last Thursday night but didn't have any real symptoms. Well Saturday she got a fever and had it all day on Sunday too, it hit 103 . She said her head hurt and her throat. They did a strep test and it came back negative, none of our kids have ever had strep. So, they said she has the flu. They said it should last 5 to 7 days for her but if the little ones get it 7 to 10 days for them. We are praying that it stops with her.
Tomorrow on Tuesday afternoon Jonathan has an appointment with a new ENT. We hope that this doctor will really look into his hearing/speech problems. He has worn hearing aids since he was 9mo. old and has had 10 sets of PE tube. The doctor we have used for the past 9 years just isn't doing much for us. When Jonathan saw the genetics doctor last month she referred us to a new doctor. We have heard great things about him. We are thankful she got us in to see him. We want Jonathan to communicate and understand better. I'll let you know know it goes.
For now we are praying everyone else stays well. Wish 15 years ago we knew what we know now and that would be........ buy stock in the Lysol company! But more than anything in the diaper company! LOL Here is something most people don't know about us for the past 15 years 10mo. we have been buying diapers!!!!! We still don't see and end at this point. Jonathan is still in pull-ups and Wesley of course is in diapers. And, NO we don't want to do the math on that! Hope each of you has a blessed day!
