Our trip...Part 4

This is still March 2, after the Corn Palace.

Just for fun I thought I'd give you all little glimpse of the things the kids did in the RV for entertainment. On this afternoon we had to stop off at the grocery store, Arthur, Amanda, and I went in for a few supplies. While in the grocery store Rebekah and Elizabeth serenaded the boys.

Here Rebekah is signing into her hairbrush microphone.

At this point I'm thinking the boys were not sure if they should clap or cry?!

The boys looks as though they sat pretty still for Rebekah's performance, I believe it helped them get to the point they were at next.....BELOW

From pure boredom they all took a very long nap :) OR to escape any more signing!

The RV was nice a quite for Arthur and I for about 2 1/2 hours that afternoon.

Here are a few sites we saw on the drive to our next stop. The water under this bridge was all ice, and looked like glass.
This farm was like a picture with the church in the background.

Nothing like a huge metal dinosaur out in nowhere.

Down the road from the dinosaur where some cowboys, didn't know they were around at the same time?!

The mountains and the snow together where a beautiful site, and so different from what we are use to seeing. We saw so much snow on our trip, more than I ever thought we would. I love snow, even though we don't get snow in this part of Tennessee very often....and if we do it never lays for long. I wondered if I'd still like snow after this trip, the thing is I now love it even more. On our way back down from up north when we hit Kentucky the snow was all gone. It made me sad, and I longed to see the pure white that you only see with snow.
It makes me think of the song we sing in church "Nothing but the Blood " speaking of the part of Jesus blood washing us clean....white as snow! The song is below, but not copied well.

What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Refrain: O precious is the flow that makes me white as snow; no other fount I know; nothing but the blood of Jesus. 2. For my pardon this I see: nothing but the blood of Jesus. For my cleansing this my plea: nothing but the blood of Jesus. (Refrain) 3. Nothing can for sin atone: nothing but the blood of Jesus. Naught of good that I have done: nothing but the blood of Jesus. (Refrain) 4. This is all my hope and peace: nothing but the blood of Jesus. This is all my righteousness: nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Our next stop on March 2 is coming tomorrow wit lots of pictures it was a really fun stop, and the first we were able to enjoy the snow.

I love the pictures, its fun cause I get to drive past those everytime i go home for a break from college.
PS If you thought you seen snow then, you should see how much they have now. Both North Dakota and South Dakota have been hit 3 times in the last 2 1/2 weeks!
Glad you had a good trip, can't wait to see more pictures
