As I say life is NEVER dull !!!

This is what I felt like I was driving yesterday evening.
OK, maybe not this old of an ambulance!

Remember my Memories Monday post from this past Monday? Well I spoke of how time goes to fast! That now Wesley is in the toddler stage, but in the blink of an eye he will be heading to the rough and tumble boy stage...well he is testing the waters early. On Tuesday he fell in the laundry room off his push toy and busted his chin wide open....so off to the ER 40 minutes away to children's hospital we go. Now Wesley has 5 stitches!

They put the numbing gel on it first but because it was so deep they still had to give him 2 shots in the chin...not fun! He was 3 large stitches and 2 small, they are the kind that dissolves.

Wesley was a very brave little boy while they stitched him up. He cried lots and was pouring sweat but sat very still, they didn't even have to strap him down. It's never fun to watch your children get stitches.

Today Wesley showed us all his boo boo 100 times, but still was his active rounder self... not even a few stitches can slow him down for long :)

Poor little guy. Sam busted her chin open when she was 3 years old and she called it her hairy chin. that was in the mountains so the closest ER was an hour away.

Hope he heals fast. We used Merderma (however that is spelled). Not sure it did anything but her scar is not noticeable at all. But that may just be cause she was young.

Having so many kiddos I bet you have seen your share of stitches, right?

POOR WESLEY!!! Boys will be boys! Although - I have two rough and tumble girls (remember Broken Arm from falling off train table?)!!!

I remember by brother falling off our front porch and busting his chin open as well!!

Hope Wesley is feeling better!!!!

Poor Wesley! I showed this to AK and she felt so bad for him-she busted her chin wide open when she was 3 and still remembers it!
Jenna wanted her training wheels off when she turned 5 last week. We ended up at the pediatrician (ushered in the back entrance...never good) and then straight over to the pediatric dentist for x rays. Her cuts were on her gums (wow) and 3 teeth are hanging on by a thread. Ugh...You are right! NEVER dull :) We miss you guys :)

Awww poor Wesley!!! I hope it doesn't hurt too bad. I've never had stitches, but just the thought of someone sewing my skin creeps me out! LOL

Poor guy. I remember Daniel having bruises up and down his legs that just made us wince.

Time goes so quickly. My baby girl will be 11 in less than a month. Yike!!!

Thinking of you. Love T
