Sickness...

We have now been home from vacation for a full week, and we spent this past week sick. It started out that James and I had a head cold last Saturday. It has now touched everyone in our family except for Elizabeth and Madison. It went from having a simple head cold to head ache, cough, congestion, fever, ear ache, and a few had an eye infection. Let me tell you when 10 out of 12 people are sick it makes for a very long week, with little getting accomplished other than keeping up with what time meds were last given and to whom. As of today we have 5 still under the weather.

Here is a couple of pictures of our very sick baby girl, her poor eyes are a mess. Today she and Rebekah are the sickest.

We are praying this clears up by Thanksgiving. The sad part is that on Thursday night we missed a reunion with my family with relatives from California, Arizona, and New Mexico that we haven't seen in years. We were happy 3 of our children could attend, they road with my sister. Today Arthur's family had their Thanksgiving together with cousins, aunts, and uncles ...well Arthur was able to go and take 5 of the kids. Glad they could go but sure sad we all missed out going as a family for the fellowship.

Now you know what we have been up to this past week sickness, medicine, lounging, and sleeping when we could find rest.

Oh poor thing, she looks so sad :-( The only good thing about everyone being sick is they are all laying down :-)

Oh, no!! I despise sickness.

So I will say a prayer of healing for you and your family.

Father,

Thank you for you goodness and love and for sending down your son Jesus that by His stripes we were healed. Bless you Lord for loving the Munck family. You love each one of these beautiful family so much. Thank you that your healing hands take away the cough and sniffles and that in the midst of this sickness your grace and your hand is covering them and keeping them. This sickness must leave this home because sickness does not dwell in your kingdom. In Jesus name AMEN!!

Blessings,
Chris in FL

Bummer - - - - but IF it all gets gone in a week to ten days rather than linger longer, that will be excellent news.

I feel so bad that you all have been sick. I know how hard it has been with us the past few days. So for you guys to have 10 sick that is just so sad. It is so hard seeing children especially the littlest ones like that since they just can't figure out what is going on. Isn't it funny how sickness turns everything into survival mode and you just get by with what has to be done. Hope you guys are well by Thanksgiving and have a great Thursday!!! Praying for your family, Missy Parris and family!
