Snow Storm...NO, a Brain Storm!

Well after several days of snow and our days being fairly low key, the Munck creative juices started flowing. We felt the need to get into a home project, and this one seemed to include everyone. Some are having to do more labor than others, and a few are just being a little shifted around for a few days....

There was moving furniture, taping out, and then on to the paint........

To keep the paint safe we gated the door, this way Miss Ruth Ella could still be a part and have a birds eye view ;)

Arthur spackled the nail holes and took the high part of trimming out with the paint.

(she is looking out here to a room full of boys!)

Miss Ruth Ella is sharing her room tonight with a few extra brothers and she was so tickled about it!

Wesley, William, Jonathan, and Ruth Ella welcomed in James and Stephen for the night....along with a few shelves, a desk, and the cubbies you see. So, the room is full to the brim tonight and all 6 of these children were looking forward to their camp out tonight!

Bright and early tomorrow morning we'll be working on our project again. We hope to be finished by Saturday, then I'll post pictures and tell about our new room arrangements.

I can't wait to see the finished results and hear about it - - - but guess we have to - - don't we? The kids looked like they were having a great time! Hope they actually get some sleep for you.

It's all such a job isn't it? We need to tackle some things around here. One of our bedrooms looked like that all week as all the children (almost all) were packed into big sisters room for late night sleepovers since she's been on vacation all week.

What a fun time! I wanted to take the opportunity here to invite the ladies of your family to an upcoming Mother/Daughter Conference. I am on the board of Southeastern Christian Home Discipleship Families. It is an organization designed to bring encouragement to homeschooling families in the southeastern United States. This year our Mother/Daughter Conference will be held Feb. 25-26 in Newnan, GA and is entitled "Godliness With Contentment is Great Gain." Our keynote speakers are Marilyn Boyer and her daughter Laura. You can go to www.sechristianhomediscipleshipfamilies.blogspot.com for more information or to register. The cost includes lunch, dinner and an afternoon tea. Please feel to pass this along to any Southern homeschooling moms you think might be interested. Hope to see you there!

Oh how fun to have a room full of kiddos! We love having "slumber" parties where all the kids gather in our room for a night. Can't wait until we see what you have been up to! I'll take second dibs to Cinnamon to have your crew come over to redo my house!!!

Can't wait to see the outcome of your project. Looks colorful:) I liked the peek at Ruth Ella's portable crib. I'm going to show my husband tonight. Did you say you got it at Babies R Us? I wasn't sure if you could get a wooden one for the price you told me but hadn't had time to research it. That was a good price. Hmmm, I think I'm wanting to change the beds :)

Well, Sarah and Christopher and I decided that we just might not wait til Monday. We just might get in my car and head up there. WE DON'T WANT TO WAIT TIL MONDAY!!! Of course, there's that little tiny detail of Hannah throwing up right now....and I guess ya'll don't want another MONTH of this stuff going around. Of course, this is an "Amish" virus. Yep, brought back along with 4 cows from Pennsylvania. Bet ya'll haven't had that one yet. And I guess you don't want to....so....we'll wait til Monday with everyone else in the blogosphere!!!
Love Ya'll!

Oh what fun. We are all still camping out in the living room since the temps are still so low. I am dreading moving the little girls back to their rooms. They aren't gonna like it. :)

Zion has the same port a crib as Ruth Ella. I can't wait to see the finished room!

I can't wait to see the final project! I love all the new Christmas photos of everyone on your blog. I can't believe how big Ruth Ella has gotten. It has been awhile since I've had a chance to pop into your blog. I've missed a lot! Hope you had a great New Year!
