Our week...

This week seemed to fly by with just basic life activities, here's a glimpse of a few of our happenings.......

Our week started off with much warmer weather, sunshine, fresh air and ~SMILING~faces!!!

Arthur began cutting down our weeping willow tree that has been struck by lightning 2 times. We are sad to see the tree go but it's rotting and has began to house squirrels and lots of insects.

Madison was enlisted to help with the tree project, he and Arthur made a great team!

We watched 3 flocks of geese fly over our house heading back north...another sign of spring coming! (This picture was taken with my cell phone so it's not a great shot)

I gave Arthur and 5 boys haircuts, it's a task I'm glad to have marked off my least for the next 6 weeks.

Arthur taught James how to vacuum the pool, this will be one of his new chores when summer arrives. James was so excited to have graduated up to this job. We are working towards getting our home ready for spring/summer.

The girls baked cookies, this weekend.

Bath time and Foam Soap's Yummy too!!!!

Arthur and the boys burned some brush and broke out a bag of marshmallows. Then they sat back and had some "boy" talk, you know the kind of talk that boys have with a daddy.

Stephen doing one of his chores, before going out to play.

William loved sitting atop the cut willow tree, he felt he had a birds eye view :) Our whole week was full of spring like weather with temperatures reaching into the 60's.

The outcome of our the warm weather and sun.....poor Wesley got sun burnt!
Now on to another week, I look forward to seeing what it brings our way!

He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

Oh what fun warm weather brings. Just makes everyone want to run and play OUTSIDE :-)

I have three boys ready for a haircut but I'm too tired to stand to do even one hair cut. Oh well, they'll look like cavemen for a bit longer :-)

We're enjoying this warmer weather too. I see some of our perennials are starting to poke their way up through the soil. Spring is definitely on the way.
Our men and boys have been cutting brush and doing clean-up too.

Foam soap that's edible? That's a new one since my girls were little. I had never heard of it until your blog.

I am so jealous of your warmer weather. Fun to get projects done and what great helpers you have! :-)

I need to cut hair also. Hopefully I will get that done before babe arrives.

Thanks so much for your continued prayers for Brian. He is on the mend. His stitches were taken out. The incision is healed. And he has been to the pool once. Dr.'s orders for him to walk in the pool neck deep - he loved it.

How are you feeling?

Who would have thought to put sunblock on when it is February 20th?
