Over the winter and spring we became "hooked" on homemade caramel popcorn! It's fun and easy to make!
Ruth Ella enjoyed helping pop the corn.....
And as soon as the popping began a crowd would gather around quickly. A few to watch the popping and some just knew that before long a tasty treat would be served:)
This recipe is as easy as 1-2-3 !!!
Yummy golden caramel popcorn, once you taste it you'll be hooked!
Easy Caramel Popcorn:
1 stick butter
3/4 cup of mild honey
8 cups of popped popcorn (1/3 cup unpopped)
1/2-1 cup of peanuts (optional)
Melt butter and honey together. Bring to a boil and let boil for about 1 minute stirring constantly. In a large bowl pour over popcorn and peanuts and mix thoroughly to coat. Place popcorn mix on a baking sheet (we like to cover our baking sheet with parchment paper, makes for less clean up later). Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Stir and bake for 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
