Saturday our family loaded up in the van for a trip across the Georgia line to visit our friends the Hartel Family. I have known Victoria from the blog world for about 2 years, and last May Arthur and I had the pleasure of meeting her and her family in person at the GHEA homeschool conference. From that time on we have kept in contact, in March we saw each other in Spartanburg, SC while at the Teach Them Diligently conference. We planned right then and there to get together, soon! Well, Victoria went right home and came up with a few dates for us to come down to their home for a visit and dinner. We set a date, and I'm so thankful we did. We had a wonderful time of fellowship and encouragement.
The dinner they served us was wonderful, all of our children sat together....
Except Ruth Ella and Mary Ann enjoyed sitting at the parent table. For dessert they made Eclair cake, which Ruth Ella thought was the best thing she had ever eaten! After dinner I was thrilled to sip tea with Victoria, that was truly a treat!

It seemed our fellowship ended all to quickly, as the night drew to a close our littles were getting restless. So, we loaded up the van to head back across the line into Tennessee. Thank you Hartel Family for a having us into your home.
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
