Memories Monday

We attended a wedding on Saturday March 3, not just any wedding! This was the wedding of our as we call them our "Canadian cousins". Sweet Megan (who is like a daughter to us) got married to Henry...the love of her life! It was a beautiful wedding, we attended it a bit differently than the other guest.

We visited our dear friends a few weeks before the wedding so it didn't allow for us to make the 26 hour trip back. We did the next best thing we attended with Skype from their laptop. Our wedding attire was lacking a little, we went with comfort :)

Since we didn't get to go to the reception either we had buttered popcorn during the ceremony and cookies following. It was a very memorable day, one that we were thrilled to share with them, even if more than 1500 miles separate us. One thing is for sure our love for Christ, our families, and each other keeps us bonded!

This is what we saw, the next best thing to being there!

The first kiss!!! So sweet!!!! What a blessed day!!!

Here are a couple of 'real' pictures taken by their photographer

Megan was just radiant!

Now they are ONE!

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
Genesis 2:24

You are correct - - she is a radiant and beautiful bride. She looks like she has a kind Christ-like spirit, too. There is peace glowing from her face.

I'm so glad that you all could be there without being there :)
