31 for

1 year old
Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Proverbs 22:6

From day one we began to train/teach Jonathan.
His training wasn't just the normal baby stuff, it was way more in depth.
We had to train him how to suck, how to control his arms,
and the list went on and on....
At times it seemed never ending.
With lots of prayer, support from family and friends, early intervention,
and leaning on the Lord's strength we wouldn't have been able to train/teach Jonathan.

This is one of the resources we used to help us as we trained/taught Jonathan

 The book is
this link will take you to Amazon to view the book.

In Jonathan's early years this book was so helpful to us,
as we had had 4 children but to us children just grew and developed...
we had no idea that for some babies growth and development doesn't come natural.
So, right along with Jonathan Arthur and I had LOTS to learn.
We have moved on in most every area,
Jonathan still has a few gross motor skills that haven't been perfected.
We are still have much to teach Jonathan,
and like Jonathan Arthur and I are learning as we go.

Ahh! He's so adorable! Thanks for the book recommendation! I may be wrong, but I've always had a feeling that the Lord will bless us with a Down's baby one day...either through birth or adoption. If He does, then I'm sure I will be coming to you for advice. :)
