This is a beautiful giveaway. One of the things I like about fall is my birthday, which is today ;-) But what I love most is the world getting calmer and slower. There is more time left for reflection and family. In Germany we celebrate our thanks giving earlier - we did it last sunday - and that's a good time to start thinking about what you got in the year and what you still need to do. Better than when the year is over - it is time of gratitude. I love talking with my family about what we are grateful for.
Love,
Lisa

Fall is my favorite time of year but I'm not sure I can put my finger on just one thing I love most. Its all things together that make it so amazing to me. Crisp fall air, vibrant colors, apple pie scent, pumpkin spice scent, cozying up with children, tea and hot cocoa...I love it all together. My favorite part of fall is decorating my house for fall and apple picking :) and of course all the delicious things you do when you get home from apple picking :)

I love the smell of the air in the fall; everything has a tangy, refreshing scent! I also love how in the colder months, people start dressing a little bit more modestly, and covering up a little better!
Thanks for doing this giveaway:)

It was wriitten "There is no season in all the year so beautiful, so radiant with glory, as the early autumn. There is no time when the human soul drinks in so fully the glory and beauty of nature. All objects of beauty are more beautiful while passing away from us. The closing up of a beautiful life—the fading of the holy stars in the dim light of morning—the ending of a quiet summer day and the passing away of the bright summer glory, are all more sweet and lovely as they are lost to us. The death-glow always beautifies anything that wears the trace of beauty ere it goes back to nothingness. We do not understand the secret of this principle, yet we know that it is some law of the infinite mind."

The Fall represents many things to me. It is a time of harvest for the seeds we sew. It is a time of reflection, as we watch the once green folage begin th change into the beautiful colors that now give us a different kind of warmth, not on our flesh, but in our hearts. But more importantly, it is yet another oppourtunity to marvel at the creativity of God. Not only through the beautiful canvass HE paints across the lands as this transformation takes place, but to those who have trusted in HIM, it is a reminder that even as time changes our lives, we know that there is a season for everthing that glorifies HIM.

The best thing about fall for me is visiting my sisters family. They live in a small town- population 171. It is so peaceful there when all the trees change color and the deer wander closer and closer to the back door. Fall is a sweet time!

I love the crisp cool evenings snuggled under our flannel sheets and heavy comforter and the warmth of the sun during the day. When the cooler weather arrives I also start to get antsy to crochet and knit. I enjoy doing this in the evening. I also enjoy fall scented candles. My kitchen "theme" is fall so I do enjoy fallish things all year round. :)

I think what I like best about fall are the days we all pick and can apples as a family and all the pumpkins and cider that come out at this time of year.

Thank you for sharing the lovely giveaway! Your blog is a sweet blessing to visit.:)

What I like best about fall is how it feels like a fresh start to me- the heat of summer is gone, the dead leaves are falling, and things just seem bare. To me, spiritually, it is a reminder to get rid of old sins, habits and thoughts that I have been struggling with that do not glorify God. Just as God controls the changing of the seasons, it's a time to allow Him to finally change me so I can make room in my heart for new growth in the Springtime. :-)

Dear Munck Family,

I love everything about fall! Relief from the sweltering summer, crisp smoky air, the changing colors, pulling out the turtlenecks and cozy sweaters, hot cider and pumpkin everything, and the approach of Thanksgiving.

Autumn is my favorite season. It's a return to short, cold, rainy days here in the Pacific Northwest, but also a time to knit together as a family, drawing closer to each other as we spend more time indoors together, playing games, crafting, baking together, reading aloud, celebrating the opportunity to be a family. Also my husband's and second daughter's birthdays this month, and that's definitely a reason to love fall. Thanks for the chance! Blessings!

I enjoy the crisp, cool weather. After extremely hot summers here in the south, it is nice to have a reprieve! It is also a great time to pull out the knitting and get to work.

Fall is my favorite time of year! My favorite thing about fall is all the leaf changes. I grew up in south Texas and never saw bright, vibrant colors of orange and red leaves except in pictures. As a young adult, I moved to New York and experienced that for the first time. I fell in love with fall. I also love the crisp air and using my fireplace!
