Jonathan's 14 Birthday----31 for 21

Jonathan had a sweet treat of a birthday party.....

The theme was based around Jonathan's favorite game....

CANDYLAND

We had a mix of candy.... hot, sour, and sweet!

14 years old!!!!!

Jonathan loves birthday parties, he was thrilled that this one was for him!

(William made the poster that is over Jonathan's head, he copied the characters off the Candyland game.)

A whimsical tree with a Gingerbread man topper, sparkly silver ribbon, turquoise lollipops, and sheets of candy buttons.

~This was one happy young man~

Jonathan with his dinner partner Ruth Ella....

On the Menu:
  • Vegetable Lasagna
  • Salad w/Lemon Poppy Seed dressing

Present time, what he had been waiting on....

So much fun.....

Jonathan being his playful self...such the teaser!

Anyone for a game?

Or maybe a big slice of cake?

We chose to light the 14 candles....

Sing 'Happy Birthday'....

And make a wish and blow......

It was a wonderful birthday celebration...lots of sweets which cause some to make silly faces :)

Speaking of sweets we had a bunch of candy left over....but all of this candy doesn't compare to our "Sweet Jonathan"!

We thank the Lord daily for giving us Jonathan to love and be apart of our family!

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you

 Numbers 6:24-25

What a fun party! I know my Andrew would enjoy a party centered around candy!

Do you think you could share the recipe for your vegetable lasagna sometime? It sounds like something my husband and I would enjoy. Thanks.

All your birthday parties are great but this one is the most fun ever! Which Munck woman made the cake? I am trying to decide who had more fun - - the persons who decorated and anticipated Jonathan's reaction or the birthday man himself! Praise God that you make a big deal over each gift God has given to you!

Aww, your family is so beautiful! Don't let anyone on the internet tar you down or make you seem guilty for following His word.

Colossians 3:14-16.
