Jonathan~ August 2012

We are blessed beyond measure to have Jonathan as our son. Jonathan having Ds made our lives richer in the fact that we see the world in a completely different way. I know I have said this before (HERE) but truly if only we could live, love, and appreciate things the way he does....we ALL would be so much more happy and content. Not to say he is happy 24/7, but things just roll off his back and he moves on. He doesn't hold a grudge, harbor ill feelings, or allow the sun to go down on his disappointments or frustrations. He shows grace and loves unconditionally! Boy do I love him!!!!!

“Be angry, and do not sin”, do not let the sun go down on your wrath,
Ephesians 4:26

That is so sweet and so true...if *I* could live that way....something wonderful to reach for.....loving unconditionally.

Very sweet indeed!

I have your tea on my table....waiting.....just in case you plan on coming for Thanksgiving ;-)

The world would definitely be a better place if we all behaved like Jonathan. Thanks for such a beautiful post and tribute to your sweet boy.

I love the way you talk about Jonathan (and all of your children) your love for them is so evident and what others may look down upon, you look at in an honest light. He is fearfully and wonderfully made, as every good and perfect gift is from the Lord!
Funny how the Lord uses our children to teach us so much. Humbling and amazing all at the same time.
Thanks for sharing this month about Jonathan!
