Some thoughts ....

Today has been a day of preparation for our celebration of Thanksgiving. We accomplished much the house has been all a buzz.

This year I was given 2 gifts each gift was something to add to my Thanksgiving decorations. One dear friend sent me the cutest pumpkin hanging, which has been so festive in our kitchen. My other sweet friend sent me the adorable acorn salt and pepper shakers...this friend and I have chatted about having Thanksgiving together, but know it's just not possible. She has a matching set of salt and pepper shakers. Tomorrow as we use them I'll pray for her and her family and their Thanksgiving celebration, Lord willing one day we may share a Thanksgiving meal...and pass an acorn to one another ;)

The smell of apple pie is in the air, and I'm now off to bed! We have some friends coming to celebrate Thanksgiving with us...we're excited about that. Praying for our Country and for a Happy Thanksgiving Day to everyone!

I have had you and your precious family on my mind a lot. I am sure it is so much fun have so many grown girls to help in the kitchen! I know I love it when my mom and SIL can all work in the kitchen together. One big helper for each little helper. : ) I am blessed to know you and be able to bombard you with emails. : ) One day last week, my Mom made a run to the sock outlet near your house. We were not able to go but it reminded of our sweet visit back in Feb. How I miss you. I pray you all have a blessed Thanksgiving! Much love my dear friend.
