Thankful for...Harvest Yummies

 I'm thankful for the harvest.
This year we were blessed to be able to put up many  yummy foods.

Strawberry Jam
There were lots of hands helping in this process. This year we made
some jam with honey it had a good flavor, but I think we like the
jam made with the organic cane sugar best.

 Green Beans

Amanda taught Ruth Ella how to string the beans this year,
and she was a fantastic helper!

The canning process took us several days.

Bell Peppers

We cut the peppers up and then sealed them with our FoodSaver, now their in the freezer and ready for a meal.

Which became PICKLES!

As a team we were able to wash, cut, cook, string, and prep our food for
 the winter months. I'm thankful
we have food stored for the months ahead....that's a

He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.
