Thankful for...Hearing

I'm thankful to be able to hear! Daily we see how hard it is for Jonathan to communicate with us with his hearing loss. He struggles with not hearing the world around him as we do. I'm thankful for what he does hear and count it a blessing.

So, hearing is something I'm very thankful for....I can hear a sweet whisper, my baby cry, a child read, birds chirp, the wind blowing, the splash of water when my children swim, laughter, a baby coo, giggles, stories and dreams, rain, a sermon preached, singing and instruments, someone saying "I love you"....the list goes on and on! Hearing what a precious gift, one I hope to never take for granted.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Romans 10:17

What a great family you have! It is really nice to see a family enjoy each other and the life they have. Life is a beautiful gift and I think to enjoy it, to laugh and smile with your children and your friends is the most respectful way to use it.
