Thankful for....My Husband ♥

♥ The love of my life!

Where do I even start to share about Arthur?! He has been my best friend from the time we met. He knows me better than I know myself, we finish each others sentences, and can communicate without speaking. He has seen me at my best and at my worst....truly my worst, he knew me before I came to know the Lord. He prayed for me and had faith that the Lord would open my eyes to needing a Savior. Arthur is patient with me when I'm negative, because he is "always optimistic"...he then helps me to see life through the eyes of faith! Arthur has shown me what it is to trust in the Lord. In our marriage we have walked a long road of ups and downs with sickness and finances, during those times we sought the Lord and were strengthen in Him...and our marriage became stronger.

I am the organizer and structure person, Arthur is the fly by the seat of your pants guy.....
In most cases this is kind of like oil and water, the two just don't mix.
For Arthur and I it's never been a problem, when mixed together we found a new groove.....
Organization and structure in the house and with the children, but flexibility to pick up and fly by the seat of our pants when Arthur gives us a cue. Our marriage is full of stability, love, mixed in with some adventure....Seems we never have a dull moment, life is to short to live any other way.

I was in love with Arthur the day we married, I just never knew that today I would be madly in love with him.

I'm thankful to the Lord for my sweet husband, his faith, love, encouragement, and being a man!

Ephesians 5:22-33
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.  For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.  Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,  that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.  So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.  For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.  For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.  Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

Adorable couple! A happy Christian marriage is such a testimony to a lost, dying world.
