The View

Arthur and I left yesterday for a weekend get away to celebrate our
anniversary! We are enjoying the gorgeous view along with the great outdoors
...as always we stand in awe of God's wondrous creation.
This anniversary trip isn't like any other we have ever taken. This trip is
very special to us for a "Big" reason...I'll share that reason later with more pictures.
I hope each of you are having a fantastic weekend too.

Something came in the mail...

There was a lot of excitement over this. Now the house is quiet other than the voice coming from the CD player. The boys are settled in under the fan with listening ears eager to hear the adventure taking place.

We really enjoy Jonathan Park! Which is your favorite?

Sick in the summer...

Ruth Ella is sick, and has been running a fever of 102-103... with no other symptoms. We placed her in her bed with her comforts and cozy stuff. We then gave her Tylenol, Alligator (aka Gatorade), and turned on a DVD of Signing Time....all things combined made for a content sick little 2 year old. We are praying tomorrow she will be well.

Oil and water don't mix....

Well, neither do cell phones and coffee!!!!!

The first day we arrived in San Antonio there was a mishap with a cup of coffee and a child! The coffee clean up was easy, but the repair on the cell phone wasn't. So, this put me way out of the loop with the blog world. We are now back home, with loads of pictures to share. Hope each of you have had a wonderful start to a new week.

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  2 Peter 3:18

The Baby Conference

PAST:
July 8-10, 2010

Vision Forum Ministries put on an astounding conference called, The Baby Conference.

The conference was held in beautiful San Antonio, Texas.

I did a small post of our trip HERE.

Arthur and I were blessed to be able to attend the conference......

Along with Miss Ruth Ella who was 10 months old.

There was a wonderful Ladies Tea, where Michelle Duggar was the guest speaker. Since we don't have a television, I hadn't ever heard her before. It was a real treat to hear her share her heart, and of all that Christ was doing in their family.

Michelle Duggar was given the 2010 Mother of the Year Award that same night. Michelle with Jim Bob next to her accepted the award with such humility and grace.

We heard several panel discussions, and a host of speakers from topics ranging from miscarriage, adoption, and the fruitful womb. Vision Forum has a CD collection of the entire conference, you can check it our HERE....it's well worth it!

Yikes, I think I sound like an infomercial, but it's truly to good not to want to share the information:)

We missed not having all our children with us, it felt odd to be a family of 3 for a week.

Time for Ruth Ella to stretch, and wave to tourist....

The keynotes were given in this room, and it filled up quickly.

The days were long for this little girl, but she did great.

Ruth Ella enjoyed our trip, and now it was time to go home.

By the God of your father who will help you,
And by the Almighty who will bless you
With blessings of heaven above,
Blessings of the deep that lies beneath,
Blessings of the breasts and of the womb.
Genesis 49:25

PRESENT:
This week is .......

We are heading back to San Antonio, for The Reformation of Food & Family. One of the best parts is that our entire family is going to be attending! As a family we purchased our attendance for this event back in December, it is a trip we are all thrilled about. Our minds are eager to taken in multiple topics from various speakers, and return home with a wealth of new knowledge.

If you can't attend, no need to be disappointed. Many of the keynotes are going to be live streamed go HERE and check it out!

Happy Independence Day

Hello Everyone, I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July. I really like this song by the Gaither Vocal Band, and how blessed we are to live in a free Nation! I would like to say a special thanks to all those who help to keep our Nation free. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

Psalms 72:11 Yes, all kings shall fall down before Him; All nations shall serve Him.

Summer H-E-A-T

We have found the best way to beat the summer heat and days with temperatures over 100° is.......

A long soak in the pool, Ah!!!!!

Mary Ann lounging......

William decided to take a few pictures and video a bit while in the pool....

Making a silly face....

A scrunchy face.....

Wesley has the sillies often, and loves to entertain....

With these 6 children in the pool, it made for a pool full of FUN! I take great joy in seeing my children play together and love one another.

How are you beating the summer heat?

You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them,
And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth,
And gave them water for their thirst.
Nehemiah 9:20
