A little get together...

Each year we have a little Christmas get together for our younger children, grandmothers, my sister, and  young niece. Arthur takes the older boys out for a boys night. Here are a few pictures of our party which was a snow theme.

We found cute little tea cups and purchased one for each person.

Tea & Cocoa was on the menu ;)

As always we had way to many sweets !

 We painted star coasters....

They made snowman note pads...

They decorated wooden ornaments...

Last but not least they made snow flakes.
Lots of fun was had by all :)

Christmas Day 2012

Mama & Mary Ann

 Christmas in the Munck home.

We have a few traditions with our gift giving. We do stockings, but we don't do Santa. We each draw names, and for the gift we fill that persons stocking. It's always fun to see what each person gets in their stocking...and what won't fit ;) We also have a tradition of opening presents in our pajamas/cozy clothes. You may notice we don't look as though we just woke up, we didn't because we first have to go tend to the boarding dog at the store. So, our Christmas morning we get cleaned up, go feed-water-walk dogs, then we come home and get back into our pajamas or cozy clothes eat breakfast and then open presents.

All of these gifts can be here today and gone tomorrow. The best and most important gift in Jesus, who came to free us from our sins and give us eternal life.

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Christmas Crafting

 Christmas, Children, and Crafting.....
that makes for a great mix!

We had several nights of crafting before Christmas, on this night we made bookmarks.

Mary Ann just enjoyed the markers :)

 This was another simple craft

*Stamps & Ink Pad
*Markers

We laminated the bookmarks so they would last longer.
