Ponderings about the Savior....

The ultimate gift, a risen Savior who paid for our sins!

He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.
Matthew 28:6

I pondered for many days on what I would post for Resurrection Day (Easter),yet, nothing I thought of felt right for it wasn't good enough. Words can't express the depth in which my head thinks or heart feels about our Lord Jesus Christ, The Risen Savior. From his simple stable birth, marvelous miracles, sinless life, bearing the burden of my sins (and yours), suffering horrendous torture and death on the cross.....then victory over death and the grave!

I sit in awe of Christ grace, mercy, and love in which I am unworthy. How thankful I am that we serve a Risen Savior, who has gone to prepare a place for me...and You!

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  John 14:1-3

This is a song by the Crabb Family, My Redeemer Lives, I absolutely love this song. During this pregnancy I have woken many nights, wide awake and this song be the first thing on my mind...for My Redeemer truly does live!!!!!

I hope each of you had a blessed Resurrection Day.

Hi Laura, thanks for this post. The picture is beautiful! I hope your Easter was a good one. Ours was spent away from home, but we enjoyed fellowshipping with other believers in their home church which was very enjoyable.
