William's many sides....

William is 8 soon to be 9, I happen to think this is a very fun age. He has now left the little boy stage behind, and is now on a quest to figure out where his niche is....and I'm getting quite a kick watching him grow and explore.
Last week we were doing chores, one of William's chores that day was to pull the weeds by the pool fence. It was a very hot and humid day, I looked out several times to check on William and makes sure he was doing OK. Each time I looked out he was focused and very busy. After awhile William opened the door and called my name, he said he had something to show me. I went out by the pool, William quickly showed me his new "collection"....
While pulling weeds William found lots of snails and figured he could do chores and a bit of snail collecting at the same time. He was very proud of his newest collection :)
This boy likes all things moving and creeping, there is definitely no fear in him!

William's new love is his bow....
Arthur spent an afternoon teaching William how to hold the bow, aim, and shoot.....
It didn't take him long to catch on, he has gotten pretty good at hitting the target!
William is also very fond of being...
the goof, the clown, the funny guy...
he is a face making, silly song singing, prankster!
He keeps things lively:)

Then there is the serious side to William, he's very compassionate,
He is a wonderful brother, always willing to lend a helping hand to the bigs...
he likes to lead games and activities for his younger siblings.
He is a deep thinker and ask lots of questions about -everything-
he's eager to learn and teaching him is so easy.
William likes to keep busy, and enjoys being his Dad's sidekick.
This boy is a mix of many things, and we look forward to seeing where the Lord takes him:)

What a fun post! Gianna saw William's picture on my side bar and she remembered him from when you visited.

It is always neat to see the personality behind the person :-) Some of our children never act goofy if others are visiting. But when it's just us alone they are soo goofy!

Love the pictures and the bow! Our kiddos love theirs.

hugs! ~Cinnamon

Loved reading about your William. This post made me smile as Salinn and I have been trying to learn all your childrens names. We have the girls down but your boys all in a row confuse me. Salinn is always telling me that you remind her of her piano teacher and then she reminded me that she has a William too. So, one more name down......:)
