This post is long overdue,

in no order and some may seem silly~

14   It seems in the past two and half months our family has been around the world and back again. We boxed up our home of 21 years, moved to the country, and now we're trying to build our new life on the land. As crazy as it has been, I'm VERY thankful the new journey in life we are on.

November...Day 7

I am so thankful for pictures,
I'm pretty sure I have said this before....

Pictures are wonderful,
they capture the ordinary of life and the extraordinary of life!

They allow us to visually walk down memory lane,
giving us the ability to soak in times of past.

As days pass and time moves on I know I will always value having
various family memories at our finger tips to enjoy.

November....Day 6

Water....
I'm thankful for the ability to go to my sink and have "clean" water flow from the faucet. We have been on mission trips and seen children drink from ditches and puddles. We have seen Mama's walk to the community well for water, which was dirty and filled with parasites. So, I'm thankful for clean fresh water that flows freely with a turn of a knob. We are privileged and blessed to have no fear of sickness from the water we drink or lack of supply.

Good Night :)

November.... Day 3

Each day I wake and have an idea of what that day will hold, yet, I never  fully know how the day will unfold. I don't know who I'll come in contact with, or what kind of unexpected situations may come my way. I don't know what my attitude or reactions will be. So, I must be prayed up and seeking to be like Christ. The thing is I fail Him miserably "daily"! I don't intentionally set out to sin but I do....if only the fresh wasn't so weak.
The wonderful thing is each morning there are 'new mercies', for this I'm very thankful. What an awesome God, He loves me...with His grace and new mercies each morning.

November... Day 2

Today on my list of being thankful is.....
Homeschooling!
I love that we have the freedom to teach and train our children. Our family loves history and I enjoy reading with my kiddos. Life is learning and each day life opens the door to numerous teachable moments, I'm thankful I can be there to help guide and teach my kiddos in those moments.

November- Day 1

Wesley lost his front teeth last week!
Each year at this time I'm reminder just how much we have to be thankful for, not just in November but daily! We are still without internet at home, and have found it hard to incorporate blog time while at the store. I haven't perfected blogging from my cell phone.... but I'm going to give it a try. I hope to blog daily things that I'm thankful for in no particular order.
Today I'm thankful for little boys....
The kind that run, jump and play until they almost can't go any longer. For boys who love on their baby sisters, and then go and squash a bug :) Boys that talk of Roy Rogers and a shoot out, then in their next breath speak of Jesus.....Ah, boys they bring much joy to this Mama's life, I love them to the moon and back!
